Please Help With Bake Sale Pricing???
Decorating By anothrcookiejar Updated 30 Nov 2006 , 3:09am by OhMyGoodies

Can anyone help me with prices for a bake sale? My sister is helping her (very small) church with a bake sale at a Christmas concert.
How much is a good price for cookies,(single and by the dozen or half dozen) brownies, fudge, loaves of quick breads, (both regular size and mini) and the usual bake sale items?? I've never done a bake sale before and can't really remember the prices I've paid at the ones I've been too. I just eat the stuff...LOL
This is all going to Toys For Tots and to the Church.
Thanks for any and all ideas and help you may have.

I would probably price them a little higher than normal since they are for a Charity. Most people will pay a little more in cases like that.
Mini Loves of bread $2
Full loaves $5
Fudge $8 per pound (which is normall at places I go to)
Brownies and cookies(depends on the size )
maybe $2-$3 each
$8 half dozen
$15 dozen
Just kind of a guesstimate there. I don't know the sizes or types of the cookies or brownies so it makes it a little hard to say on that.

Thank you pattiecakesnc and subaru for your help.
We have someplace to start now with our pricing. I'm not sure on the types of cookies or items we'll have as a couple ladies from church will be baking things.
More ideas welcome if anyone has any to share.

Where I live the bake sales sell cookies that are about double the size of normal cookies for about $1.00-$1.50 each and brownies a little larger then you would for your own kids maybe double size for $2.00 - $2.50 each. And since it's for charity they probably won't think twice about price
