Hello Everyone--

I want to make a welcome mat cake, and the recipient likes chocolate icing. I do not want to make white chocolate icing since it's not the same as regular chocolate. Suggestions for getting chocolate to look like a grassy green?

Thanks and God Bless!

Since nobody has responded yet; maybe this suggestion might help. Frost the cake in chocolate, then draw a welcome mat on top of it using good old white frosting colored green. It might look more appealing than green-colored chocolate too.

I really cant imagine how you can get chocolate to look green...I would imagine if you add green food coloring you might get an army type green, probably even darker than that.. Sorry I couldnt be more help I think Linda's suggestion is perfect...Thats the way I would go.

Thanks Linda and tnuty! I couldn't wrap my brain around an idea like Linda's. I was stuck on the entire cake being the welcome mat! Yes, I too was worried about the icky-ness of the brown green combination.
