Hello Everyone..

I have been asked to make an enchanted forest/fairy type cake for a customer. She would also like some kind of favor/goodie for each person to take home with them, but I have no idea what to make? For last years cake that I did, we did the rice krispie treats shaped like a piece of cake... but this year she wanted to do something in the same theme as the cake (forest/fairy)... maybe a cookie on a stick of some sort. Does anyone have any creative, unique, ideas for this???

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

There is a really cute fairy/forest themed cake in the 2007 Wilton yearbook using the castle kit. As for favors, how about fairy wands made from star cookies on sticks, iced and sprinkled with edible glitter? Tie on a few curly ribbon strings at the base of each cookie in coordinating colors and voila!

I have done a few like this. Here are the pics. The fruit fairies is from a Debbie Brown book. The other two I made up (as far as I know).

As I was reading your request, I was about to write what "FrostinGal" wrote.
I love that wand Idea. So that's my vote! icon_wink.gif

The cake she wants is the one from the 2008 Wilton book... the cake on top of the tree. I'm just hoping I can pull it off!!

Luckylurker... your cakes are beautiful... thanks for sending them.
