


I believe you just add a dab of liquid to it. Some of the folks on this site have talked about adding vodka or one of the clear flavorings. However, when I made my stacked silver anniversary cake (posted in my photos) to do the silver swirls on the top layer I just added a little water to my silver dust and painted them on. Good Luck!

The easiest way is to add PGA (Vodka) or any pure extract (i.e. lemon, orange) to your luster dust. The liquid will make it into a "paint" but the alcohol content will make it dry quickly then evaporate leaving the gold on your sugar decorations. You just have to keep adding either PGA or your extract to your luster dust because it will continue to dry in the container your mixing it in. I hope that helps!!
