I buy mine at pak-man.com. They are a local company for me and deliver to my door. I think they ship but you might be better off finding a place close (boxes are freakin' heavy) or with free shipping. You could also check deco-pac.com.
If you use very many and have a Sams Club near you, they can be a great resource. They don't have them on their shelves, but you can order them directly through their bakery. I just got a case of 25 of the 1/2 sheet clamshell type ones with the black plastic bottom and the clear plastic dome lid for under $17.00. I was paying almost $2 each for the cardboard ones at Hobby Lobby before that. If you prefer the cardboard ones, you can get cases of those at Sams bakery, too.

Just went to sugarcraft and was so excited to find what I needed w/out having to buy 100 -200 boxes, but when I went to check out my $15 order had $24 shipping!! That's insane! Anybody else out there with a suggestion?
I order mine from Papermart.com.I've tried to find a local supplier here but no go!! I just had 100 shipped by UPS and it was $58.00 shipping but the darn things weigh almost 80 lbs.I order every year and a half so it is worth it!!
The cake supply shops near me are pretty reasonable (well, one is anyway). And I found a great deal at a local bulk food store. I was shocked. The sizes were limited, but if you can find some at a good price without paying for shipping, it will save you $$.
I can't say for sure, but I think the 10" boxes at my cake store are about 79¢ each and the bulk store sold them for 49¢ each. This might not be a great price for buying in bulk, but there's no crazy shipping charges attached either.
I've liked uline.com for other things, and have seen posts here about papermart.com.
I get mine at Party City. They are located in my neighborhood as well as online at http://www.partycity.com and have other locations. For me, here in Hawaii, shipping is very expensive. So I was glad to find them.
NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!! Please don't pay that high shipping!! I posted this exact question a few weeks ago, and a wonderful CCer told me about www.countrykitchensa.com. I went there, ordered 50 boxes, 2 bottles of coloring, some cookie cutters, 2 packs of cake boards, and measuring cups for $64 with shipping. My shipping was only 15 for all these items!! Please patronize them. Their customer service is awesome also. They called me on the phone personally about my order. Also, if you use icing sheets for edible images Icingmagic.com offers free shipping! They cost the same as sugarcraft's, but sugarcraft wanted to charge 15 dollars just to ship some icing sheets!!!!

If you have a local restaurant supply store in your area you might want to try checking there. There is one in my city & I just bought some 1/2 sheet & 10X10 boxes there yesterday. The 1/2 sheet boxes were 89 cents each & the 10X10's were 69 cents each. They sell them in packs of 100 too & they are 69 & 49 cents that way. And no shipping charges!!

Currently I get mine from either Ben Franklin's which is our version of Michaels, or I get them from the grocery store bakery but the only problem there is they already have the store name printed on the bottom of the box all the way around...
I've started to like the heavier cardboard boxes better because they're sturdier along with being a little cheaper in that I can get them tall enough for my cakes (how often are the boxes just a hint too short if you want to do any top decoration - I'm not going to make my cakes shorter).
The company I've had good luck with and their shipping is incredibly reasonable, www.uline.com They also have cookie bags for super cheap (along with some device to make the tie part easier)...
