
I have this recipe for rolled pumpkin cookies. I want to frost them with some kind of chocolate glaze. I was thinking poured ganache, but will that set and dry? Anyone have any other ideas? I am looking to have the same effect as royal icing, but with chocolate flavor.

What if you just drizzle melted chocolate chips on them? Or chocolate mmf...or maybe dip them? I would love to now about the Ganache to. Glad you asked.


Check out Sherry Yards book "The Secrets of Baking" she has a chocolate glaze recipe in it.

The recipe I posted in the recipe section is Alice Medrich's Sarah Bernhardt Chocolate glaze from her book Cocolat. A fabulous glaze, tastes delicious, but on cookies you wouldn't be able to stack them without marring the glaze or having the cookies stick together.
