Are you looking for anything. I know when we were trying to find names (at least for our younger two) we wanted Irish names--NOT americanized ones. My oldest son's name is Jarod and his middle name is Archer. Both unique names (though Jarod is becoming more popular--but not spelled with the "o"). I got his first name from the TV show "The Prentender"--a lont time ago... My middle son's name is Tyge (pronounced like "tiger" without the "r"). Very Irish name that we could not use the true Irish spelling for because it was way too complicated. But switching it to Tyge, it became Danish. His middle name is Ardan--another Irish name.
I like Connor, Aiden and Logan, but they are becoming VERY popular (Logan because that is Wolverine's name and with the X-Men movies coming out, there has been a lot more Logans around! )
Try thinking about if you want a unique name or some specific cultural name. Or, ya know, TV shows and movies have great inspirations--think of your favorite ones.
So with that, I will add Jareth--David Bowie's character inthe movie Labyrinth.

My boys are Mason and Brody. My nephew is Jace. Other names I like are the more traditional ones like Thomas, Nicholas, James.
Any family influences?? My son Brody's middle name is Marcas after my two brothers, Mark (Mar) and Casey (cas).

My husband and I had a deal. If we had a girl I would pick the first name and he would pick the middle. If we had a boy, he would pick the first name and I would pick the middle. We had a boy and call him Jeremy Reid. When he was in High School he told me he wished his first name was Reid because he preferred it. I think there were too many Jeremy's that he went to school with. So Reid is my favorite.

So Reid is my favorite.
Hey! Reid is my grandmother's maiden name, so i had been thinking about that- whats holding me back is that there was lots of tragedys in that family--is that silly to let that influnce my decision???
My husband loves the name Duncan. Does that make anyone else think doughnuts???
He also like Lincoln
I really liked lots of your suggestions, and now i have a whole list of names to consider THANK YOU so much, as usual everyone on here has been so friendly and helpful. Keep the suggestions coming and I will let you know what we pick--- will have to have a long talk with hubby about this name thing...

haha its not really the name Duncan (I DO like it) it is just the association with Dunkin Doughnuts or Duncan Hines. Do you think he would be teased?? Yeah, hubby is also big highlander fan. I should be a good wife and let him have that name, he has had it picked out since my oldest was born six years ago and we just kept having girls...
Lincoln popped in his head while watching 'prison break'- i don't like it either.

Like you when it came to naming our baby we had the girls name pick out months before. So much so that people thought we knew what we were having. Which we didn't and then we had a boy well we did agree on Zachary which means remember by God if you like names with religious meanings.
Sorry I forgot to add the other names I like
Clayton
Owen
Zane
Dwayne

I dislike trendy names - since when you think you're being cool, you end up having the same name as four other kids in your grade ! But I do like unique - and I am a conservative feminist - as my husband calls me - I wanted to pass my name on as well - so I used my maiden name and named my son Rider. And yes, I gave birth/named my son BEFORE Goldie Hawn's daughter (I'm blanking on her name!) gave that name to her son.
