I ran in to Big Lots today and found boxes of vanilla Jello pudding marked down to 10 cents! I bought all 39 boxes (the cashier gave me one of those looks!) and later I noticed there is an expiration date which had just expired. I would think boxes of pudding mix would pretty much last indefinitely, but wondered what everyone else thinks.
If not, I've got a lot of pudding to eat.

What was the day? Today? Yesterday? I'd use them up thru 6 mo. You can always pop them in the freezer to keep them fresher.

icon_redface.gif I've used pudding or other box mixes way past their date....turned out good!

I might be incorrect but I really don't think that it would spoil or go bad in any way. The date on many boxes are simply "sell by" dates but have nothing to do with the product being unusable.

I see things now that have dates on them and I wonder how I have survived this long. When I was younger, the majority of products had NO expiration dates unless it was milk and eggs.

If there's an 800 phone number on the box or an e-mail address, perhaps you can contact the company?
