HI all

I want to make the Whipped Cream Buttercream from the awesome recipe book here

Anything I can substitute for it??
I can make meringues but Im not gonna make em just to crush em for the buttercream.

I don't know where you are located, but you can buy meringue powder at walmart in the wilton isle or at michael's hobby lobby ( i am assuming, we don't have one here.), or at Joanne's. It comes in a little can about the size of baking powder. It basically is a powdered form of egg whites with some other stuff in it.

It is usually back by the fabric section down where they keep the wedding goodies at walmart!!! They usually have two sizes of cans! HTH

You can use powered eggs whites if meringue is not available. But as mentioned by others, you can buy it walmart, micheal's, hooby lobby, etc.
