Hi I'm wanting to make some piping gel....But as I'm from New Zealand Karo syrup would have a different name can anyone out there help me?????
Karo is a brand name for Clear corn syrup. You might find it with the pancake syrups.
Hi, Karo is the brand and it is just regular corn syrup, and there is 2 different kinds, the dark (like molasses) and the light, which is a light yellow clear color. HTH!
Thanks I think it might be glucose syrup here. Will try it anyway and see what happens.
Corn syrup is great for thinning out your icing for detail work, it makes it flow nice and smooth.
