ummm , please help me think of an idea.....

so far Ive only come up with....either

A. the rainbow brite castle.....

or

B. a 9x13 covered in grass and other mmf rainbow brite accents like stars flowers....but a rainbow off to the side....like a round cake cut in half to make the rainbow arch...Im thinking part on the cake....part off the cake...I may also be dreaming that I can do that! icon_lol.gif

I will only do the rainbow brite, the white fuzzy thing..and maybe the horse as mmf figures....Im not making all 50 of the other characters icon_confused.gificon_lol.gificon_eek.gif

on the rainbow I figured RB sliding off it...

anybody have anything else???

It needs to serve 30....and is for a 5 yr old

um, yah...that's alot more creative than I would be able to come up with! I like #2 but that is a LOT of work! (I can't remember which characters are called the sprites, but I use to LOVE Rainbow bright, my mom even took me and my best friend to see the movie when we were little! Think it's time to introduce my kids to rainbow bright, so my girls will at least enjoy here as much as I do.) you could do some round cakes connected by the rainbow with characters sliding down the rainbow and the bad guys (Ican't remember who they were) hanging off the side of the cake for dear life. I really like #2 idea of yours though

I love the 2nd idea! I know you can do awesome mmf figures so you can pull it off. You have to have sprites because they are so cute. Maybe one of the bad guys somewhere? I loved the big brown fuzzy one lol. I can't wait to see this cake, wish I was more help.

thanks you guys!

I need to update myself on Rainbow Brite....I played with her when I was little....but for the life of me cant remember anything about her!!

adding a bad guy is probably a good idea! what are sprites....is that the little white fluffy guy I see in her pictures with her??

I hope the idea I have in mind works....unless someone has something else! icon_lol.gif ...something easy even!

Hi Twinsy! Yes sprites are like that white fluffy guy, there was one for each doll in each dolls color. I LOVED Rainbow Brite and had nearly all of the dolls lol. There were 2 bad guys one big cute fluffy brown one and one little green faced one. I can't wait to see this cake icon_smile.gif

I liked it so much that last year my sister found me the rainbow brite pan just so I could hang it on the wall. icon_lol.gif I wish I still had my old dolls.

I don't know how to attach a pic, but I have it saved in my fav pics. there is a cake made by I believe it is Oohlalalcakes, it's a rainbowcake, (the actual spongecake is made in rainbow colors) however I think she made it for a My little pony cake. I think it would be great for Rainbow bright!

the whole cake is in the gallery...but here are the figures....

they got really messy while working on them....thanks to ol' rainbow brite herself! her blue was a pain!

anyway.....here it is....my husband delivered it...had to take it through security at the airport!! hahah ....but I got an order for another in Dec off of it! And the Dad just called and was very happy (even more so when I didnt charge!) with it....so i guess I am too!

ummm....notice no horse...sorry but I had to call a vet and put her down last night.....she was a total no go!!!

I can't believe Rainbow Bright is back after 20 years. I guess no one can think of new because all of the old characters are being revived. The same with movies. What happened to our people's imaginations? So sad!!
