Any Ideas On A Tea Party Cake!!!

My friend is having a tea party for her 5 yr olds birthday. I was trying to think of a cake for it. Has any one ever done a tea pot cake? Or tea cups? Any ideas would be great!!

I've done a couple of teapots using the wilton ball pan and have made mini tea pots with the mini wondermold...they were very cute and can be made on stronge party plates. Each child could have their own little teapot at her place at the table. Maybe you could even write their names on them.
The handles were fondant and toothpicks.
The cakes are in my gallery.

I modelled the table settings on these cakes. One of them was for a 6-year old. They just took all the stuff off before cutting the cake.
I really like the design where a cake teapot is accompanied by little cake teacups baked in the mini wondermold or half ball pan. I haven't made one like that, so I don't have a picture.

I did a tea party cake before and I loved doing it! The tea pots and cups are all individual cakes:

I baked the cup inside real cups to get the different shapes and the teap pot is made from upturned bowl cakes. The butterflies are royal icing and the handles are gumpaste held on with cocktail sticks. The saucers are pastillage moulded over the back of real saucers.

This is my standard tea party cake. This was probably one of the first ones I ever did and they look a lot better now . I need a new pic!
