Pampered Chef is here now...they came up with a decorator bottle set this season..$10.50. It includes 3 plastic bottles, 3 tips and brush to clean the bottles. The bottles hold 1/2 c. icing. They seem easier to use then the decorator bags. I think you can use any tip on the bottles. Anyone out there has purchased them? How do you like them?

If you haven't seen them, see link and let me know what you think of these bottles:

I need your input soon since Pampered chef will leave in 1 1/2 hours. Thanks for your help!

those are very interesting i had never heard of them before i personal would not buy them beacuse one they dont hold alot of frosting and two they look as if they would be very hard to work with you definitly couldnt make flowers with them or really even borders considering a lot of cake decorating is in the pressure applied to the bag comming from someone who had never used them i cant advice you for sure but i dont think i would buy them.

I don't think I would like them at all. You wouldn't have the control that you need. I also think they would be hard to clean, and would stain with dark colors. Just my opinion.

I agree I dont' think I would try them either, I dont' think you would have the same control as with the bags. They also look awkward to hold. THat's just my thought.

I agree with the previous posts. My MIL sells PC but she hasn't mentioned anything about this item. I did see it in the catalog and I thought it might be hard to control. You wouldn't be able to hold it like a regular bag so it might be awkward. I guess I would pass on it if it was me.

i actually had a PC consultant point these out to me and I thought that was funny because there is no way I would use them. I think the bottle would be very awkward to manipulate. I love bags!

No no no, I sell pampered chef and I have them and they are not good! They suck the frosting back in at the end of what ever you are going and they are not really flexable.

Not to bash my own products, but not for cake decorators!

Great idea on not buying them. I used to sell Tupperware and they had something similar to that. Tupperware said that it was supposed to be easier on peoples hands if they had arthritis or fibromyalgia. Bologna. I got it and hated it. My 7 year old nephew couldn't even get the icing out.
