I am doing a golf them e cake for our annual tournament and I don't know how to make the grass. Can anyone let me know what type of icing you use?

For very short grass, just put spatula on icing and pull up lifting tiny bits of icing.
Sandtraps could be made of crumbled cookies, water hazards with piping gel.

I use brown sugar for the sand trap on my golf cakes.

I have done it using a spatula... like mentioned earlier lay your green down then lightly touch your spatula to the area and pull up. It is labor intensive depending on the size of your cake but it looks great
