6X2, 5X2, 4X2 Cake Pans

Hi all,
Has anyone baked with these small pans? I saw a tiered cake made with these sized pans and just had to order them. The cake was done in a basketweave with flowers. Adorable. Question, does anyone know how much batter is required and what bake time might be? TIA, Julia

i've never baked with them, but they are sooo cute. i do have a 4" springform i've used for small cakes, i think i bake it for 20 minutes, max, just keep your eye on them

Thank you, Smashcakes, 20 minutes is a start. Great, now I'm going to want a 4" springform pan.

I have a set of 6" pans that make the cutest little cakes. Mine are Wilton and the directions said to use 2 cups of batter. As for the 4", my guess would be that if you're baking at the same time, just fill the smaller pans equally as high with batter.

I have only baked the 6" with an additional 9" to use up all the batter and have left-over cake to practice on, but they took almost as long as the 9" for me.

I bake 6" cakes all the time........they usually take about 25-30 min. to bake.
