Is it possible? I made one more NFSC cookie than I needed, but of course, two broke. A small piece broke off the top of a baby bib cookie. I'm attempting to repair it with a little of Antonia's icing on the back...not sure if it will work?!??

it should, as long as you give it sufficient time to dry. you may want to use the thicker version of the royal icing, not the thinned.

i doubt they will notice. it should be fine. unless its an order for donald trump (ha) i dont think its worth the hassle of another batch just for ONE cookie.

GLue it with Antonio's and then I am assuming you are going to ice them? That would cover up the 'glue'. No problem.

if its a paid order, and you feel like it, you could always just deduct the price of one cookie from what they pay you. call the broken one a "freebie"

actually, the cookie broke when it was already decorated and I was bagging it icon_mad.gif so I can't cover it with more icing. how annoying!!! It is a paid order for a friend. I did think that if it doesn't work I'll just deduct the cost of one cookie. thanks!

kate, if you do glue it back together, make sure you leave it out to dry until you have to deliver or have it picked up. if you bag it while still moist, the cookie will get soft. it may not be a big deal since its a small piece, but better to be safe than sorry.

if its for a friend though, i'd just give it to them and just like you said, take the charge off.
