I have my first cake order for a babyshower cake on the 26. i will be making a square sheet cake 12 x 12 and it is 3 inches deep. I am making the Almond Sourcream cake.

How much batter do I need to use to get a nice large cake or how many mixes? I will be torting that cake to make 2 layers with strawberry filling.

Need your help CC. thanks diamondsmom.

According to Wilton's chart a 12x12" square pan will take 10 cups of batter (2 mixes) per pan. If you would like it to be fuller, simply add a little more batter.
