Anyone use this? Like it/hate it? Dh was with me when I hit hobby lobby today and he wanted some, since it was 50% off I bought one box but wonder if I should return it or go buy more before they close tonight?

I personally did not like it. I used it once and I wont pay for it again. Though I have read that a lot of people do like it. I just didnt think it was worth the money. It was too soft for me and I had a hard time with it. Since you already bought it you should try it and see what you think

I agree with Merissa ... didn't like it and won't buy it again. Everyone has different tastes though!

Was it difficult to use or was it the taste? Thanks!

Dh loves whipped icing, I make my own but he said it's not the same as rich's bettercream (which is what the bakeries around here use). He was hoping this box mix was similar, I told him yeah right but we could try it!

both, I did not care for the taste. But I also found it was softer than my usual icing. I am not used to working with whipped icing though.

Thanks I will probably return it then, it's on the expensive side to just be "ok" even if we liked it somewhat. I'm guessing I won't want to work with it and my husband is very picky about whipped icing so he more than likely won't like it much!

I just used the Wilton Whipped Mix this morning. It was great! I mixed it last night and it was very simple. I then put it in my fridge overnight and whipped for about a minute this morning and iced the Hello Kitty cake in my gallery. My whole family loved the taste. I haven't heard from the person that bought the cake but I'll let you know what she says.

Husband wanted me to just try it so I did. YUCK, I won't buy it again. It has a funny aftertaste, at first it tastes too sweet but then it is weird. I can't put my finger on it, like day old grocery store cake frosting.

It is not stiff enough to decorate with either, it melts very fast. I was able to do a few things with the tips but they didn't come out very well and I don't think roses would have worked at all.

Figured I would come back and review incase anyone searches for this stuff.
