I'm working on my Calla Illusion cake for next weekend and i'm having trouble cutting through the stems without mutilating them. I've tried heavy wire cutters and dog toenail clippers (ones I use to cut dowel rods). Any suggestions what to try next? I need them to have clean edges.

Thanks!
Debbie

hedge clippers work wonders.....

LOL, I love using my dog toenail clippers! I thought I was the only one who did that... great minds think alike!

Thanks! I'll have to run to the store tomorrow after work!

The dog toenail clippers were a great find! Too bad they wouldn't work on the stems! icon_lol.gif
