I am doing a birthday bible cake. The customer wants a bible verse, here is a cut & paste from her email:
Psalm 121 V 1
I lift up my eyes to the hills
where does my help come from?
Normally, when putting this on a cake, would the "Psalm 121 V 1" come after the verse?
And, what is the right way to write that? Is it:
"Psalm 121:1" ???
Forgive me for being so naive, but this is new territory for me.
Cindy

If I were writing the verse (and this is a regular part of my life so I'm not guessing ) I would write it with the actual verse quoted first followed by the reference.
"I lift up my eyes to the hills-
Where does my help come from."
Psalm 121:1
HTH

I had to do a bible verse once. I had to fit the source where it fit best based on the picture on the cake. I never even thought it might be placed "wrong"! I didn't get any negative feedback. It's in my photos ... grapes, bread, wheat and a chalace.
