Hi everyone. Alrighty, got a question for anyone who can help, please. I just recently got new countertops for my kitchen (my old ones were 52 yrs old) Anyway, we decided on Corian for both the countertops and the sink. While the installer was putting the countertops in, he repeatedly told me to ONLY use Windex on the tops. (He was very adamant) Well, I decided to go to the Corian website and they say NOT to use a window cleaner. Hmmm, so I was wondering what everyone else uses to clean the tops and the sink. I'm afraid of using the wrong thing because if something went wrong the warrenty would be null and void but I can hardly believe that someone who deals in Corian tops and cuts and installs them on a daily basis would tell me to use something that would harm them. Any help would soooo be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Bon Ami is the best for cleaning any kind of tops. My father was a cabinet maker and installed all kinds of tops (Formica, Corian, granite...) The only thing they recemmended for cleaning was this. It will take off all stains.

On a side note if it gets scratched you can sand it out.

I use soft scrub gel with bleach. Just if you have a dark color, don't drop the gel directly on the counter and walk away or you could end up with a discolored spot (happened to me right after installation, on a black top) I do use a cleaner, polish Called Hope's counter top polish. Its wax free and really makes the top shine, it also took out the discoloration that the bleach left when i left it on the top to long.

Hi peg818 - Thanks so much for your help. The Hope's Counter top polish is actually on the list of polishes to use on the Corian website. Can you tell me please where you get that from? I just came back from Home Depot and couldn't find anything that was on the cleaning list by Corian. I think I will get the Hope's if I can find it. Thanks again. I really appreciate your help.
butterflyjuju - Thank you too for your help. I have heard of the Bon Ami but have never tried it. I really appreciate your help too.
