Hi all,
We have just been invited to a birthday dinner tonight, as it is raining the boys golf day has been cancelled and dinner instead.
I need an idea for a 29yr old male cake. I love to work with fondant and royal, and love to make figurines.
He does not have any passions exactly like sports or anything, so it is hard to do one for him. I was thinking of doing a very masculine cake, as I have only just started decorating and lots of the cakes I have done are kids ones, and want to show in my album that I can do masculine ones too.
I have both round and square tins so that isnt a problem, just have a brain freeze.
All ideas and pics would be appreciated. I have about 4hrs to decide before I have to start on it.
TIA

I agree that masucline ideas are so hard! Just look at birthday cards for fathers! They are always ducks, deer, and fishing!
I'm drawing a blank for a generic masculine cake, as I always fish for something personal about the guy. But one thing I know from general wisdom is that you can't separate a guy from his remote control! So, how about a remote control?

Thanks for the replies ladies. I ended up making him a Bob the Builder cake as I just found out he is doing renovations on his house so thought that would be perfect. I will post pictures later on today when I download them onto my computer.
Thanks again
