How Do I Make Pine Cones Out Of Fondant?

Does anybody know how to make pine cones out of fondant? I would love all the help I can get. Thank you

Take a ball of fondant and shape it into a cone the size you want your pinecone to be. Take a pair of sanitized scissors and make small snips to form the points on the cone.

I do the same as fronklowes but I use a pair of flat ended tweezers and squeeze at intervals down the cone, making it look like a pine cone.

you can do that with the cone and go a bit further. after you do that you could make the little things that stick out and make those dry and then stick them in the cone. make the little things first and make them dry then stick them in the cone. i have never done it but i just thought of it. tell me how that sounds.
