If you're wanting to make one out of parchment, I can send you pictures of how to do it (pm me if you want those). But, basically, all you do is get a roll of parchment paper, tear off the length you want, form it into a cone, and tape the outside. There's a slightly more complicated way to do it that requires no tape, but I don't think I can explain it in words without the pictures for clarification.
If you want a bigger plastic bag, just get the size Ziploc-type bag you are wanting and cut one of the bottom corners to fit a coupler.
If you want a bigger cloth-type bag, go to a hardware store and purchase a grout bag.
Also, there are companies that sell disposable and washable piping bags up to 18", 21" or 24", I believe. Then you don't have to mess with making them yourself.

Kee-Seal is my favorite brand. And you can now order directly from them in either one box or case at a time. I like the really large bags myself, I don't have so many problems with icing coming out the end or getting on the ends when I refill.

I just looked at the keeseal website. I found a part that said to send away for a free sample; but alas, the "page was not found" when I clicked on it. One thing I like about disposable bags is that they are CLEAR. I love to see the frosting color through the bag.

Hehe, I tried it too... Hopefully it will be working again soon. I saw they had some new bags with a grip on the outside and I haven't seen those before, they sounds like they would be handy to have.
