The sizes are 1 1/4" diameter and approx. 1"-1 1/2" deep. They're for a bridal tea and I want to make sure I make enough. 75 ladies were invited but of course not everyone shows up.

depends on what else is being served. If that is the only food, and they are all the same, I would say 3-4 each. Multiple flavors means they will want some of each.

If there is other food, 1-3 each. Suggest the hostess say 'there is enough for each of you to have xx.

Hostess can control the servings by pre-plating them.

Thank you SO much! That is very helpful! Good point about the different flavors... there will be 3 so I'll plan on 3/person.

My rule of thumb for weddings is 60% of the total invite list. Rarely does anyone have a 100% show-rate. Not sure how this applies to showers and non-wedding events, tho.

But if your client ordered enough for 75, then of course that's what you need to provide for her.

Hi:
Actually, I'm donating them to the tea. It's for a young lady I've known since she was a toddler icon_surprised.gif Where have the years gone?
The hostess flippantly told me 50 -75 ladies would be coming. She's a little ditzy. (She's also the one who told me they want to spend all of the money on the decorations to make the hall look nice and also called up people to tell them they weren't invited to the wedding due to it being a very small family affair. She was informed by the older hostesses that was totally inacceptable in the etiquette world.) I figured I'd make up as many as the 3 different cake flavors would allow. I can always take the extras to my work crowd(if there are any). I'm hoping there will be a lot of other finger foods there.
Thanks for your answer!
