What do I use to get a taupe-ey like color? I have americolor ivory but it is not dark enough. Should I use more, add a touch of brown??? TIA!

Okay, this is going to sound weird but I had this problem a few weeks ago with my Peony wedding cake. It had taupe fondant ribbons and I had the hardest time figuring out how to get the color. I ended up using (now these are luster dusts, but the same can apply with buttercream) antique silk, brown luster dust and a touch of avacado. Americolor has the ivory, chocolate brown and avacado green. Mix the ivory and and a touch of brown, then a little of the green to dull it down. This will hopefully give you the color you are looking to achieve.
