I have been asked to make two round cakes for a little girls birthday. She is 10. One cake is for 8 children and the other is for a family birthday party of 25. What size cake should I bake for each of these partys? I usually only bake for family and always make our cakes big because we like cake. I also do not know what to charge. I am going to use buttercream frosting and mmf flowers on the cake.

Help!

A 9" round usually serves about 22. A 10" is about 30. These are small pieces so you may want to allow for larger slices.
