Hi, All!
I have been enlisted to decorate sugar cubes with scarlet royal icing rose buds for a wedding next week. Has anyone done this before? Will the royal icing bleed onto the sugar cubes? Do I need to make the rosebuds on wax paper and then "glue" them on w/ white frosting after they dry?

Please advise.

Thank you! icon_smile.gif

I would pipe directly on the sugar cube..

It looks as if they do... http://www.sugarcubes.ca/sugarcubes.htm

I make them often, but I usually only use pastels for tea parties. They should be piped direclty onto the cube.
