Hi I need to do a John Deere design for Sunday. I know I could easily do the logo (with the leaping deer) But I saw a lot of other cute cakes on here with a tractor and I would prefer to do that if I could find an easy drawing of one to do a FBCT or color flow. I have never done FBCT but I'd like to try so I'd need it to be easy. Does anyone here know a place to get an easy drawing of a John Deere tractor or maybe one you could post here? I would appreciate any help! Thanks!

Hello! I needed the same thing not too long ago. Try this link for MANY JD tractor pictures. Hope something on there helps! Good luck, and be sure to post a picture so we can see your work of art!

People have already posted some great pictures. Some advice I've found helpful is that it's much easier to do a FBCT of a drawing instead of a picture of the real thing. I've done both, but I find the drawing easier to do (like the coloring pages above). Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for all the help, here is the picture of the cake I ended up doing, my first FBCT. I was pretty happy with the way that it turned out.

merissa,

Your cake looks great. I am not real happy with my transfer. I will use it this coming Saturday for a belated 4th cook out.

Would you please post a link to the picture you used for the tractor? I want to do a John Deere for my nephew and your tractor looks like something I could do.

Use the links from this thread, that is where I got the photo. This one in particular is from the first link that mendhigurl sent. There were many other great photos from those sites as well. I just omitted the farmer in the picture. Good luck with your next one, I am sorry that your first one didnt turn out as hoped.
