Do you have photo software on your computer? If so, it should let you go in and edit your photos and change the size. I think the maximum you can upload on this site is 2000 MB. Hope this helps, I am definitely not a computer guru!!! Welcome to Cake Central!!

this is the "belly" for my baby shower cake its going onto a orange buttercream cake. I had so many issues with it, it cracked, was too dry, the sun hit it and it changed colour a bit. but i fixed it!
Painted on little dots to distract from the colourchange, they look like little flowers, dusted it with luster to cover the cracks and glued with buttercream lace around the edge to cover more cracks!
I was almost ready to give up last night but i finished it this morning and couldnt be happier! I will post the finished cake tomorrow evening- if it doesnt get eaten first!
Ginger x
Ginger, your belly cake is unbelievable! I think the flowered dress is perfect and definitely looks planned. Can you please tell me how to make this? I have to do a baby shower cake next month and I would love to try this...Thank you so much! [email protected]
I don't think I could pick a favorite but I loved looking at all of the pics posted here! Great job gals
You have all done a terrific job! I hope I can be half as good as all of you one day! I loved the belly cake and the dinosaur one that Courtney did. Do you have instructions for those? Please?? [email protected]
regymusic thats a beautiful cake, how did you do the design on the fondant and your roses are also so beautiful
Thank you.
I used a floral rose rolling pin. Can't remember where I got it, but here is a link to one company that carries one.

Only problem, that one is only 6 inches. You'll generally want to purchase the longest and greatest diameter you can find.
Does anybody have a link to other websites that sell this or similar products?
i just learned about this thread and i love it! here's my favorite pic..this is only my third cake so i do not have a lot of choice..so far i like this one best..it's not the best but i think decent enough to post here.. btw, i do not have any knowledge of baking or did not take any classes..i only learn, and is still learning from the best, you guys from cakecentral!

Marj, I cant believe you have no training and that is only your third cake! It is by far better than any cake I have ever done!! Great job!
Regymusic, I love that cake. Simply talented!!!!
Tat....I love, love, love your frog cake! I'm gonna have to show my dd that tomorrow. She loves frogs.
My 8 year old decorating diva just looked over this entire thread. She loves every one's pictures and says great job all!!!
She was disappointed that I had already posted my favorite cake - and asked if she could post her favorite cake....that she decorated by herself.
So, here is her favorite cake. It is called her Princess Luau cake. She did all the icing and borders by herself and helped to make the flowers with me for a different cake - so she got to use the left overs. She also painted the tiera.
This was my second wedding cake ever. It took forever to make the little swirls. (royal) When it was time to deliver the cake I had decided that it was the ugliest cake ever!! Then I got it to the reception, put on the flowers and candles and all of a sudden, it was beautiful! Turned out to be my favorite....
One I made for my son
LeeAnn, the cake is awesome!!! How did you do it??
SLK what a great cake, many adults cant even do a cake like that. Tell your daughter that i love it, she did a geat job.
BeckySue thats a beautiful cake.
debbie2881 - my dd got a huge grin and said "THANKS!!"...
Juliebugg2000 - my girls and I are looking at that going..."NO WAY, that can't be cake!" Awsome job.
Becky sue, that is gorgeous and something i've never seen before!
slk I can't believe an 8yr old did that cake!! my kids are 4 and 3 and love to watch me do cakes. i hope by the time they are 8 they want to try doing it themselves and can only hope they do half as good. How old was she when she started and what types of things did you let her do???
Finally...Juliebugg I would be you to tell my how to do this cake!!! My cousins have a them party every year and the next is a mexican fiesta ----please please please! [email protected] And btw how did you get your pic so big on this thread, I cant load any on here because I cant figure out how to change their size
I guess right now this is one of my favs.... I just think it is pretty cute.
WOWOW.. i love care bears. How did you do that and get so much detail. please do tell. i love it.
I have 2 favorites, both done long ago, and sadly, before digital cameras. So they are scanned photos, and a little soft focus. Not sure if know how to upload 2 images in the same post, but I will try. By the way, both are baby shower cakes.
P.S.: I am so impressed with the gorgeous cakes people have posted so far. We have so much talent in this community, it makes me feel embarrassed to show my cakes.
just adorable....did you pipe the animals in the arc? please tell how you did it.
