You have a 1/4 sheet pan there. Have you tried baking 2 separate cakes and frosting them together?

I thought a 9x13 was a 1/4 sheet, an 11x15 was a 1/2 sheet, and a 12x18 was a 3/4 sheet.....

A 12 x 18 is definitely not a 1/4 sheet cake--imagine how big a full sheet cake would be by those standards :O) -- I agree with the other post that 9x13 is usually considered a 1/4 sheet. I'm with you on the 12x18 pan being a half sheet. That's my standard--it varies a little-- I've heard some say they use 11x15 as their 1/2 sheet.

How many are you trying to serve? I usually say my 1/2 sheet serves 30-40 but I think that's being pretty generous... I think some get a lot more out of their sheet cakes. If you're worried about being off by just a few pieces, you can always stack a 6 inch cake in the middle of the sheet cake. Good luck! :O)

A half sheet is 12x18. It will yield appx 60 servings This is a diagram I made on a cakeboard to show people the size of the cake and appx size of the servings. Hope this is helpful.
