Can anyone tell me what colors I would use to color a patrick star cake. I can figure out his shorts... but what pink do you think I should use to get that true patrick star pink? I have all of the wilton gel colors.

ANY help would be appreciated!!!!

Just made a Patrick...I mixed pink with a little bit of ivory...then a tiny bit of copper.

Mix a Tiny bit in at a time with a toothpick...it turned out perfect...or so everyone said!

Also I have seen "SpongeBob Squareapants icing color kits at craft stores or wherever you buy your Wilton products.

I have the spongebob icing color set, but it has red, blue, yellow, and brown. I think they made it just for that spongebob pan (no patrick).

Dawn - can you tell me which pink you used? I have 3 diffent ones that all have pink in the name - one is just plain pink, so I'm guessing it's that one, but I just want to make sure.

Thanx!!!!

I have painted him on a large wall for a friend's bedroom. In the wedgie Patrick episode his shorts are purple. He is just a good bubblegum pink. Any pink that is not a pastel will be perfect.
Good luck & have fun

Patrick is a salmon pink, so you'd need to add a bit of peach or copper to your pink to get him really authentic!
