I made 2 cupcake cakes for my son's school tomorrow. (okay, I tried to make) icon_lol.gif I put chocolate pudding in the cupcakes as a filling, do the cupcakes need to be refrigerated overnight and tomorrow? They have a half day so the cupcakes will be eaten by noon. I didn't even think about that until after I put it in about 12 of them. icon_rolleyes.gif Thanks. icon_biggrin.gif

Yes, pudding is milk based and should be refrigerated.

I would think they'd be OK for a few hours. The one bad thing that happens to pudding filling is that when it warms to room temp it can get a little liquidy, which in turn might just be soaked up by your cupcakes. But - for a few hours I bet they'd be good.

Thanks DelightsByE It's not that much pudding either. I had made two extra for my kids to eat tonight and it wasn't alot. So I thoght they might be good also. Thanks again. icon_biggrin.gif
