Do You Add Dry Pudding To Your Duncan Hines Cake Mixes?

I do anyway. I think it gives the cake more body. It has never hurt any cake I have made!

I prefer to use Duncan Hines and add one small box of a compatible instant pudding, an additional cup of cake mix from a second box, 4 eggs, 1 1/2 cup of water, and 1/2 cup of oil. This is NOT in addition to what is listed on the cake box.

Since you mention Duncan Hines, I wanted to share something with you I posted on the Recipe Request forum.
"I have also read that you cannot interchange "instant" and "cook and serve". With that being said, I have read where some have used either and things worked out fine.
Here is a link that refers to using instant or cook & serve pudding. I hope this is helpful.
