Brownie Mix Into Cupcakes

I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how I could make a box brownie mix more suitable for cupcakes? I don't mind the brownie texture but my husband does. I want to get rid of this brownie mix.
There's usually a note at the bottom that says something like "for more cake-like texture"... and gives you instructions about what to add or subtract to make them that way. I think it's maybe add an extra egg??
Haha I forgot to look on the box. The last box mix I fixed actually didn't have it on there, but this one does. Thanks
