Has anyone used the press in molds to make gumpaste flowers? Do they work as well as making them by hand? It has to be too good to be true... icon_confused.gif

They are not as delicate looking as individual petals on a gumpaste flower but they do have some pretty ones available. Just dust lightly with cornstarch, shake out the excess and press in the fondant or gumpaste. Try Global, I know they carry some nice molds, also First Impressions.

its nice and fast to use, but IMO not as realistic looking as handmade ones. I use mine on kiddie cakes, but def not on wedding cakes

I love making flowers, I hadn't even thought about a mold for them.
