How many cake mixes do i need to make a full but not overflowing
16x16 square pan?

How deep is your pan ? if three inches deep, maybe four or three icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif

I use 3 mixes with nothing added to them. If you add the extras you're going to have a slight overflow (not pouring down the sides, though) which makes it easier to level in my opinion. It just come right over the edge.

3 mixes was all mine could take made a full cake it bake 1:15 min. at 325
