I'm planning to make a rabbit cookie which has a bow on his neck. I want an emphasisi on bow so I'll try to color it with gold luster duster .

First question: can you color white royal icing wiht luster duster
SEcond Q: I know luster duster is for fondant so I'll cut the bow of fondat but how will I stick it to the already dried royal icing base.
do you think just a little water is enough or should I use wet fluie royal icing?

Hi Cookiema, to answer your questions, i have painted royal before with luster dust, you just have to make sure its dry. And for the fondant bow i would use a little sugar glue (can be maid with a little warm water and tylose or gum tragacanth or by dissolving a small piece of fondant in water).

HTH,

Jenn

Hope your cookies turn out great!!

You can also put a small dot of RI to glue the bow.
