I have never made one and i have no idea how lol...so if anyone has any recipes for it i would really appreciate it!! and also would it be better to make in a pastry crust or a graham cracker crust?? thanx in advance!!!! <3
well i don't have a peanut butter pie recipe, but i have an AWESOME peanut butter/chocolate swirl cheesecake recipe from the whimiscal bakehouse book that is really really really......really GOOD!!

This is the one I love. I use the Oreos for the crust.
Usually I decorate it with some chocolate and peanuts on top. The best part is that it's so easy, you can make it in no time for a party, and people really like it. This is my "I am lazy" recipe. : )

1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
¼ cup sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 graham cracker crust, store-bought or pre-made
Whip cream with ¼ cup sugar. Mix all other ingredients until smooth and fold in whipped cream until well blended. Pour mixture into a graham cracker crust and chill for several hours before serving.
I've got one at home (I'm at work now) that I'll post tomorrow. It's similar to the one posted by lemoncurd. It's so yummy! My sister loves to eat it frozen too, but I have not tried that.
Peanut Butter Pie
1 Oreo pie crust (purchased or homemade)
8oz cream cheese
1 cup creamy peanut butter (could use crunchy)
1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Whip the cream and set aside. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, butter, and vanilla until creamy. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into crust, garnish with miniature Reese's cups (if desired). Refrigerate.
