WHERE ARE THEY!! Many of you have suggested trying the powdered egg whites in place of raw eggs. I have taken your advice on where to find them, but I JUST CAN"T FIND THEM!!! I end up circling and circling the store but just don't know what I'm looking for. I even went to a health food store and they sold something LIKE pwd egg whites but as with the case with the refridgerated whites, the packaging reads that it would not whip.
I tried a similar recipe with MP, but wasn't 100% satisified with the result so I really want to give this a try. I shop at Meijer, do you know what supermarket does carry this item?

There is a product called "just whites". It is in small round paperboard can and usually found with the baking supplies-sugar flour etc.
These are currently very expensive in my grocery, about $14! I have switched to meringue powder in bulk at the cake decorating stores.

I'vetriedthe Merigue Powder but thought maybe the result with the "egg whites"would be closer to using fresh egg whites. They must just not carry it here because I have lookedand looked and don't see it. Just being curious, does the package say anything about it NOT being recommended for whipping?
