Help Quick- Substitute Conf Sugar For Granulated Sugar
Decorating By jackie64 Updated 19 Feb 2006 , 5:23am by jackie64

I just found this by doing a quick search online. I hope it helps. I am not sure myself what the exact conversion is.
"Confectioners or powered sugar does not substitute well for granulated sugar in baking. In other uses, substitute 1 and 3/4 cups confectioners sugar for 1 cup granulated sugar."
I hope it may work for you even if they say it isn't best to do so. Good luck!

I couldn't find a conversion for sugar to cs...but I did find this site that gives honey as an alternate...(down towards the bottom of the webpage)

hope this helps!

What are you using it for?
I've heard of people using powder sugar in sugar cookies in place of the regular sugar and say the get great, soft results.
So it may be able to do, but it would definetly depend on the uses of it. I don't think it would work the same in a cake recipe.
