Just like the subject says, how would I go about measuring out half an egg white? Thank you.

Its for a white cake recipe converted for a larger recipe from a smaller one.

Get out you're trusty kitchen scale, weigh it, go at it with a whisk, and pour out half of it.
Ooorrrrr....
Throw in the whole thing and reduce your other liquids by about a tablespoon. I often find that just half an egg white usually won't cause too much havoc.

At just 1/2 an egg white I don't really think it's going to make that much of a difference if you just go ahead and use the whole egg white. After all, not all eggs are the same size.

As I am so new at this that answer really works for me Lazy Susan
Thank you everyone for your feedback

I made a recipe just today that I had to scale down by 1/3 What a nightmare!! (I'm not the best at math) but i kind of guesstimated w/ the butter and such (5 1/2 sticks of butter divided by 3?? - I just ended up using two sticks) and it turned out fine! I'm sure you could use the whole egg white without a problem!
