Eagle Scout Cake

I'm looking for an idea for an eagle scout ceremony cake. My client would like a full sheet cake, but wants fondant icing. Very patriotic, maybe with the eagle scout emblem. Anyone ever done one of these?

My daughter is in girl scouts. If you were to go on the boy scouts of America website, you could print off an emblem or get some ideas off of it. I'm sorry to say I haven't done any though.

Here is a cake that I did for an Eagle Scout. It is a fbct of both the badge and the medal they receive.

Ignore the writing. My writing is terrible and I put the wrong date on it. icon_redface.gif However, I did fix the date just after I took the pic.

I made one last year, and it was too plain. I have never done a FBCT and I wish I had known how to do it for that cake.


One thing I did do that got a lot of comments was that I took all the words from the Boy scout pledge and wrote them on the side of the sheet cake. (alternately in red and blue) That part turned out nice.
