Okay, I know this is a weird request, but I have a birthday cake next week and my customer wants a cream cheese filling, but she asked, "I really like the cream cheese custardy-type filling. Is that what yours is like or is it more similar to a frosting-type substance? If it's custard-ish, I think that would be pretty tasty." I'm not really sure....I have used the cream cheese and whipped toppping and the cream cheese and marshmallow fluff, and not really sure if either of these are a custardy type of filling like she wants. Thanks for any help with this, just not sure what consistency a custard is.

I use a 3 oz box of Jello (brand) Instant French Vanilla pudding mix, and 1.5 cups of whole milk, mixed with 1.5 cups of room temperature cream cheese. Whip all these ingredients together and expect a rather stiff but creamy and custard consistency filling that sets up really fast.
