I need some help here, Ok I've tried the recipes on this site and some on others and I have still not found the pastry cream that bakerys use to fill those delectable cream horns. So does anyone out there know the recipe for these that is shelf stable and doesn't need refridgeration.

I would also love to have the recipe. There is a bakery just across in Miss that has the most awesome creme horns.

Here is a recipe link for a filling that requires no refrigeration.

Sorry for the delay getting back. Thanks for the the recipe, I'll be trying it this weekend. It seems pretty simple. I am in hi hopes. I'll let you know how it compares to those delectable cream horns. I guess there will be another R & D session at my house this weekend.
