Does anyone have instructions for making the cowboy boot cake?

You could just make a sheet cake and carve it if you dont mind it laying flat. I am not sure what direction you want to go though. You could search in the gallery for some that you like and then pm that member for advice. I know I have seen some boot cakes before.

I have the Wilton shaped pan of the cowboy boot.

Do you have the wilton boot pan? If you do, go to the link to the left for pan instructions and just type in boot, it will come up with western boot character pan in adobe format and you can download it.. I just checked to make sure they had it before I posted...

I was thinking of instructions for 3-D cowboy boots.

I would think you could use the same basic concept in this tutorial to get the height, then just add the toe and heal to the boot. The way this was done would make sure it stayed up=) The Larry demo.
