Oh my goodness, Blue Bell Ice Cream put out a Cake Batter ice cream and it is sooooooooooo good! Anyone else here try it?

Yes...I love it!
Unfortunatly, we no longer live in Texas and can't get Blue Bell up North.
Have you gone on a factory tour, it's lots of fun (but not as fun as the Shiner factory tour!!)

Love it! I noticed last night that Schwans sells it too. Never tried that one!

Factory tour...hmmm...sounds like a fun weekend trip!

If you have a Cold Stone Ice Cream parlor near you, they also make a cake batter ice cream. It is so good! They offer a birthday cake sundae with cake batter ice cream, brownie pieces, sprinkles and chocolate sauce. Maybe we'll have to take a trip there tonight!!

I first had it at cold stone about two years ago. I am so happy I am able to get it at the grocery store now! I haven't tried blue bell's yet, but I am sure it is delicious. I have had Dreyers and Great Value's and they are very good as well! Dreyers is called take the cake and it is very good!

Unfortunately, we don't have Blue Bell ice cream up here ... I sure wish we did, though.
Cold Stone Creamery's cake batter ice cream is TO DIE FOR. I just wish it wasn't soooo expensive.
I agree that Edy's "Takes the Cake" is FANTASTIC, too!!! I hope that's the flavor that becomes permanent (only one of the AI flavors will become part of their flavor line ... the rest are only Limited Edition).

If you guys like cake batter ice cream from Coldstone, you should try Birthday cake icecream from Marble Slab. OMG!!!!!! It is to die for, just have them mix in some sprinkles and put in in a white chocolate dipped with sprinkles sugar cone, it tastes exactly like birthday cake and ice cream. YUMMY.......

Oooh ... lizzard14, that sounds soooo YUMMY!!!!!

OMG!!! It is sooo YUMMY!!! The cone is so big, I would say it holds about a pint of ice cream. I'm just glad the nearest Marble Slab is an hour and a half away, I'd be in big trouble if we had one close.

I just bought some tonight. It's funny because I was going to write a thead here about my new find. I guess I'm not the only one that found it. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I am definatley looking forward to it.

I went to college at Blinn in Brenham. We would go on the tour about once a month when we wanted to go out but didn't have any money. It was some good stuff! Haven't gone on the Shiner tour yet, but Sea World in San Antonio has a Budweiser venue.
