I like a strawberry or chocolate mousse filling with this one. The fillings that you buy in sleeves (including "mousse") don't need to be refrigerated.

Just curious, what kind of icing did you use with this cake? Thanks

I just made this cake and used raspberry filling and italian meringue buttercream. It was awesome.

Chocolate mouse is lovely with almond. Just remember to make a dam before filling so it doesn't mess up your outer icing.

Hello All:

Cordy do you use the nutella straight out the jar or do you mix it with the buttercream?

Thanks

I have used it straight out of the jar and I also mixed it with cream cheese and powdered sugar.
