CakeInfatuations' cake is gorgeous and your tutorial rocks, cake_architect! Thanks so much for posting it. I'm dying to try this, just like everybody else.

Just a quick question - who is annsmith, why is she posting non-cake-related spam and how did she manage to post something that has no little box in it where you can report a bad post. Is this a virus?

I noticed that too. I believe it is spam and that she is not actually doing this herself. I did mark it as a bad post and left a note that it may be spam.

Where can I find cake_architect's tutorial on this beautiful technique? Is it somewhere here on cake central? Have looked in his photos and templates but can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Go to the previous thread that Jan referenced above. It is in page 9

Possibly cake architect or Jan could post another link here also.

Out of curiosity, why was the previous thread locked?

first thanks so much for all who replied!!! ibmoser, thank you, the reason I didn't go to the facebook link was because I thought someone had written they went there and nothing was there. But I found it thanks!!

LindaF144a, I didn't realize it was in the other thread (which i read through the whole thing about a week ago) and then saw this new thread.

and finally Cake_architect....just found your site and thank you so much for sharing. can't wait to try this.

By the way, if any of you 3 are familiar with using glitter dust and/or disco dust, I have a post that I really need help on and no one so far as responded. If you don't mind and have a minute and know something about these 2, I need to do something just like the picture I linked in there but not sure which to use.

Thanks again to all of your for taking the time to respond.

Hi cake_architect! Saw your cake at the That Takes the Cake show and it was the first time I saw the billowing effect in person. I couldn't stop raving about it to my fiance. Thanks for the tutorial! icon_smile.gif
