Hi all.

Just looking for some cake ideas. A lawyer at my job is leaving and my co-workers would like me to do something Good Luck-ish / Lawyer-ish.

Thanks for your help and support.

You can do a law book and on top of the book a lawyer made out of gumpaste like the one of the picture.

Ijust found a webpage with all kinds of clay sculptures that we can make out of gumpaste...check them out, i think they are awesome:

Wow, that's great!

Unfortunately, I've never worked with gumpaste and I've never made sculptures...... icon_sad.gif

Since it's a leaving cake. and sounds like a good note type thing, how about some sort of document (either written right on the cake or do MMF really thin, as a page-court document) .
Something like 'in the matter of 'Employee's name' vs 'Employer' we find the defendant not guilty. I'm working on some other words but I'm half asleep lol. All those Matlock and Perry Mason and every other courtroom show I've watched blanking out before me LOL

Anyway hope that's a start

of course it has to be TORTED cake....

after all TORT law....

and...

how about an "Eviction Notice" hereby ordered to vacate office/cubicle by such and such date....

or a Small Claims Court suit....suing for repayment of :
purloined office supplies (paper clips etc.)

-----
or

take off of previouse suggestion of Firm vs employee lawsuit -- sentimental...

find him guilty of:

stealing our hearts.
stealing our love
stealing our best wishes
infliction of mental anguish -- cause we'll MISS YOU!!!

GUILTY as charged.
